Sr Backend Software Engineer

We work with the largest AWS premier partners around North America. Our expert consultants offer support when Amazon cannot solve problems and suggest solutions or implement projects in the AWS environment. Amazon uses us as a consultancy for service provision, including new product development, and we have a team of the world’s best cloud professionals focused on AWS, with ten consultants, among them four Brazilians.

Our team has 200 associates worldwide, including experienced cloud troubleshooting consultants. We are global partners of Azure and Google, covering almost all technologies. Our main purpose is cloud migration, with 95% of projects focused on this, and the other 5% on cloud-to-cloud migration projects.

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer who is passionate about building robust, scalable backend systems and infrastructure. This role requires strong experience with AWS, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Pulumi (IaC) on AWS.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning sessions.

• Monitor and improve system performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python.

• Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, ECS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably using Pulumi (TypeScript experience with Pulumi is a plus).

• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and version control.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment.
