Job description

About Us

We are partnering with a fast-growing Canadian startup based in Toronto that is revolutionizing how organizations access and apply knowledge through an AI-powered platform. Leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), the product delivers accurate, domain-specific, and continuously updated insights.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to strengthen and elevate our Data Analytics and AI Practice.

You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering cutting-edge AI solutions with end-to-end ownership — from architecture to deployment. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience building scalable data and AI systems, with hands-on expertise in Generative AI, AWS Data & AI services, and LLM-based applications.

If you thrive in an innovation-driven, fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly shape the product and infrastructure — this is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions, with a focus on Generative AI and RAG pipelines.

  • Architect scalable and reliable data pipelines on AWS.

  • Implement LLM orchestration frameworks to support advanced RAG workflows.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to drive AI-first features.

  • Continuously monitor, optimize, and evolve AI/ML models and data infrastructure.

Job requirements

Must-Have

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering and data pipeline development.

  • Deep expertise with AWS AI/ML services:

    • SageMaker (training, hosting, pipelines)

    • Bedrock & Agents (LLM orchestration, RAG workflows, API integration)

    • Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, EventBridge

  • Strong experience with RAG pipelines and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone).

  • Proficient in LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, DSPy).

  • Solid foundation in MLOps/DevOps: CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), monitoring.

  • Advanced programming skills: Python, SQL.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Databricks: Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow.

  • Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

  • Data pipeline orchestration tools: Airflow, DBT.

  • Understanding of data modeling, governance, and security best practices.

Why Join Us?
